Power System Upgrades
More capacity, more reliability, more time off the grid — upgrades built around how you actually use your RV.
Inverter / Charger Upgrade
Give your power system more muscle with a full inverter/charger swap, your choice of a Midnite Solar LR120 or a Victron MultiPlus II. We remove the old unit and install and configure the new one, including replacing the inverter controls on VIP Volta systems, so everything talks to each other the way it should.
Alternator Controller Replacement
Retire your first-generation alternator controller and install the new APS500 for more reliable charge management and better long-term durability out on the road.
DC / DC Converter Upgrade
Swap out your ChargeTech DC/DC converter for a Victron 40A DC/DC kit — quieter and more reliable than the old unit.
Digital display upgrade
Retire the old analog gauge for the Voltagen digital touch screen display, giving you a clearer, more precise real-time view of your system’s state of charge and performance at a glance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most from RV owners.
What does getting service at Voltagen look like?
It starts with a quote for the services you need. Once you approve it, we’ll schedule your appointment — you’ll just need to sign our Master Service Agreement and provide proof of insurance beforehand. When you arrive, pull around to the bay door on the east side of the building; we’ll get you checked in and set up in our waiting area, or drop you at your hotel if you’d rather not wait. Once the work is done, you’ll get an email with a payment link. After payment, we’ll walk you through everything we did and show you how to use any new controls — a great time to ask questions about your system.
How long does a typical inspection take?
A standard inspection typically requires approximately 2 hours to complete. Service duration varies by scope — refer to the individual service listings above for specific time estimates for each inspection type.
